We invite you to join us here to worship God. We hope that you will find the welcome warm and the service meaningful.
Of course, First Christian Church is more than what takes place in worship on Sunday mornings, lots more. On this web site you will find information about our congregation, our beliefs, our educational opportunities, our ministries, and our history.
The members and friends of First Christian Church meet every Sunday to worship God. Two worship services are offered.

At 9 a.m., we gather for a contemporary service. Led by the Praise Team, this service features an informal approach to worship.
At 11 a.m., the church offers a traditional service with organ music and choir.
Both services offer the Lord's Supper to all followers of Jesus Christ, regardless of whether they are members of First Christian Church.

In 1906, several members of the Corpus Christi community sought to start a church shaped by the Campbell-Stone Movement, and First Christian Church was born.
For nearly 100 years the congregation and its members have served the community. Today we have 343 members, a 40-year-plus Day School and Child Care program that serves a hundred children, a building that is home to more than two dozen community organizations, and a desire to continue serving well into the future. Last year we adopted the following statement to describe our ministry and hope:
